Constitution Connection
Blount Mansion National Historic Landmark is the only U.S. Constitution signer’s home located outside the original thirteen states, and one of just a handful of signer’s homes which are open to the public. As such, we take seriously our role as Knoxville’s “Constitution Connection.” .
We host an annual Constitution Day lecture in honor of our late president and University of Tennessee history professor Dr. Paul H. Bergeron, and students who visit our museum learn about the Constitution and the ideals for which it stands. We partner with professors and students from Lincoln Memorial University’s John Duncan School of Law to provide quality civics education during field trips.
